Question by Dallas: Are there any auto auctions in the southeast, primarily Georgia or Alabama, where used police cars are sold?
If so can you give me some names, addresses, or websites for these auctions. Thanks

Jeffco occasionally sells theirs on ebay.
Ive never seen a “deal”. They seem to bring close to retail.

You can sometimes find those at the “public auctions” offered by Manheim. Check out http://www.manheim.com for details. Go to the Public Auctions tab under the “Buy” tab.
If they don’t have anything, you can find a dealer who will go to the dealer-only auctions for you and buy the car at wholesale, then sell it to you at their cost plus a small finder’s fee. The dealer-only auctions have a FAR greater selection (and usually cheaper prices) than the public auctions. you can usually save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars doing this. Search the internet for dealers who will do this for you, or visit my dealerships site at http://www.carscoutauto.com and I can hook you up.
